Funded by the Institute for the Advancement of the Arts Faculty Fellowship (2010-2011) This project was a year long collaboration with Fred Mutebi of Let Art Talk to create art based programs in Kibinge, Uganda. Participating Ugandan artists included Ivan Yakuze, Sara Nakisanze and Dr. Venny Nakazibwe. Uganda based projects included a Traveling Exhibition of contemporary artworks using bark cloth to Kasota and Buyoga areas in the Masaka District of Uganda, and Art Workshops for 10 area schools exploring art based media to address issues related to environmental preservation.
